About the property

The house, room by room

Built in the 1960s and renovated with care, the house keeps its original character and adds what a modern holiday needs: underfloor heating from a heat pump, fast fibre Wi-Fi and a charger for your car.

A six-metre window onto the bay

The living room opens straight onto the terrace and the sea. It is where the day starts with coffee and ends with the sunset over the water.

  • Roland professional digital piano
  • Sofa bed and a cosy alcove
  • Open fireplace and a small workspace

Terrace, garden & sauna

A barrel sauna at the water's edge

The house sits 30 metres back from the beach, so you can enjoy the large wooden terrace undisturbed. Five metres from the shoreline is the outdoor barrel sauna, with an open view of the beach and the sea.

  • Large wooden terrace, reached from kitchen and living room
  • Outdoor sauna with sea view
  • Trampoline in the garden
  • Direct access to a shallow, child-friendly beach
  • Barbecue on the terrace
  • Parking for 4–5 cars and an 11 kW EV charger

The beach

Your garden ends at the sea

A short path through the dunes takes you onto Dyngby Strand. The water is clear and shallow, so it suits small children, paddleboards and long evening swims. In winter the beach is empty and the sunrises are spectacular.

  • Child-friendly, shallow water
  • Good sea-trout fishing from the shore
  • Sunrise over the bay all year round

Everything you need, a short drive away

The nearest villages are small, so plan one big shop in Odder or Hou. For basics there is a minimarket, an organic bakery and a summer beach kiosk in Saksild, a few minutes away.
